Massimo's Tips - Swimming Pool Chemicals
- The product dosages are indicative. The reactivity of a chemical inside the pool water depends on many factors. One of the most important is the concentration of products already present in the water.
- Follow the storage instructions carefully.
- Products containing Chlorine (tri-chlorine, di-chlorine, hydrochloric acid) MUST be stored in an area free of ferrous materials (garden tools, bicycles, etc.). Optimum air recirculation must be guaranteed in the environment.
- Flocculant is FORBIDDEN for filters loaded with filter material such as Glass, Zelbrite and Diatomaceous earth. (except for specific flocculants where the possibility of use is indicated above).
- Always perform an analysis before adding a product to the pool.
- Once the necessary dose has been added, perform an analysis to verify that the desired value has been reached.
- Always wear gloves before using the products.
- For chlorine-based products, we also recommend wearing a mask. Always open the products in an outdoor area.
