About Us
Vannini Aqua & Pool is a company based in Zola Predosa, just outside Bologna, that deals with the construction and maintenance of swimming pools. We work in Bologna, Modena, Ferrara and the province to be able to follow our customers in the best possible way.
The company was founded in 2008 when Laura Vannini and Massimo Fava decided to combine their skills and experience in the sector in a joint project. Laura has been working in the swimming pool world since 1993, Massimo Fava has a ten-year experience in the field of design and construction of plants.
Vannini Aqua & Pool is a young and dynamic company, constantly evolving. The company is part of Professione Acqua, an association of professionals in the swimming pool world that provides consultancy and support to companies.

Building Your Swimming Pool
Building an inground swimming pool requires specific skills and experience.
The terrain, the location and the type of structure chosen make each project unique, different from the previous one. For this reason, the experience gained over years of work allows us to have an operational and provident approach: for example, the type of soil, the slope, the size of the excavation, the best techniques to use. Over the years, materials change and construction techniques evolve, requiring constant updating. Our company is able to offer you the most advanced construction techniques and products in the sector.

Thanks to the consolidated collaborations with a team of professionals, we follow the work in every phase: from design to final construction, reducing execution times and tackling the work step by step with absolute professionalism.
The design phase. In this phase you expose your idea to us and we listen to you. We propose solutions and a range of possibilities, then we finalize the design of your swimming pool. Our swimming pools are designed and built according to current regulations. When a swimming pool is built, its system must then be certified, as the electrician does for the electrical system. To do this, the person who builds it must have the necessary characteristics (Letter "D"). Not only that. They must also use standard components and issue a system diagram as well as a technical report. For some years now, there has been a specific standard for private swimming pools (UNI 16713/2016 and UNI 16582/2015). If it is not possible to find material corresponding to these standards, it is also possible to comply with the standard for public swimming pools (UNI 10637). A standard must however be followed and the report must specify which one was followed. Failure to comply with these standards can also be, for example, a source of problems when selling the property. As well as generating dangers when using the swimming pool.
The construction site. With the project in hand and the necessary permits, the construction site can start. This is the actual construction part. The time varies depending on the type of swimming pool chosen, very short for an above-ground swimming pool, longer for an inground swimming pool. Modern steel swimming pools are quick to build: in a few weeks the structure will be ready in your garden.
